Welcome to my new site for leaders of all levels and from all areas of business. My background is in retail leadership. But I believe that leadership crosses all boundaries. Being an effective leader in one industry means you can be an effective leader in other industries as well. This site has two main purposes. First, it will be a resource on effective leadership concepts, ideas, and practices that you can use in your everyday role. My goal is to have tools for leaders at all levels. Whether you are just beginning in your leadership journey or are well down that path, this site will have something for you to continue to learn from. Second, Effective Retail Leader will be a destination for you to continue your self-development journey. In time, I will have courses and other media materials to help you with your personal development plans and help you grow in your career to new roles and levels.Regular content will be my thoughts on different leadership related topics. I will also include great resources and materials from other leading leadership experts. This will allow you to come to one place to get many different perspectives on leading in today’s world. Succeed.” to define that ongoing process of leadership. You must continue to learn and grow yourself. You need to translate that into what you can offer your team to develop and lead them. Those combined result in long-term success. Leadership is never a quick fix. There are short-term activities, but true leadership is for the long haul.Ultimately, Effective Retail Leader will be a resource for you to use in your personal development, the development of your team, or groups of teams within your company.
